Mooloolah State School lies in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, a twenty minute drive west of the coastal town of Caloundra. Mooloolah State School's current location is on King Road in the Mooloolah Township and was officially opened on 6th September 1985.
There had been previous school locations in Mooloolah but by 1894 a more permanent school was built in the township, opposite the Mooloolah Hall (presently the Community Centre). The photo here depicts the old school on a "Picnic Day" sometime around 1915 around the time of World War 1.
In 2019 our School celebrated the grand occasion of 125th Years. We have grown from 20 students in 1894 to just over 260 students in 2023. Mooloolah State School has a long and varied history with strong ties to the community.
